Hi friends! I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful fall season. The past month has been so busy here that I have not had a chance to blog! They say autumn is the busiest time of year for photographers, and it is so true! Peak leaf season in Ohio this year did not disappoint. Throw in some gorgeous fall weather and you've got optimal conditions for family photos!
I found this location at Hoover Reservoir while driving home from a friend's house and I immediately knew I needed to do a session here! I knew the huge golden trees would be backlit against the woods in the early morning, which would be so great for pictures. I have to say, I love how everything turned out! Getting your pictures done in the early morning or just before sunset really does make a difference! When the sun is lower to the horizon, the sun rays have more air particles to travel through.. leaving you with soft, golden light. Getting up early (or missing the kid's normal dinner time) is SO worth it!
I am so happy I was able to capture these loving and fun moments for this family!
